NAMI provides support groups which help individuals and family members dealing with mental illness. Representatives will share information about their free classes. A Q & A session will follow.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Greater Toledo is a grassroots, family-oriented support, education and advocacy organization. Their goal is to improve the lives of children, adolescents and adults who have mental illness such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, and others. Their goal is to promote wellness for individuals and family members. Support groups are free and led by trained facilitators. Representatives with focus on three of basic classes to help guide families to better care for individuals who are suffering. They include: Basics, Homefront and Family-to-Family.
