Writing engaging intimate scenes in your romance novel that further the plot and enhance characterization is complicated. Explore best practices for creating spice that will make your readers swoon.
This workshop will discuss everything from blocking and choreography to scene length and syntax and also consider reader expectations for certain romance sub-genres. It will also help you to learn how to gauge your personal spicy-scene comfort zone. While all Romance-Con programs are intended for adults, please be aware that this program will discuss details of romance writing that are meant strictly for adults 18 years and older.
This event is free and first come, first served. Tickets are not required. For other Romance-Con events and offerings, visit toledolibrary.org/romance-con.
