Sound Baths are known to reduce stress levels by calming the nervous system, leading to a sense of relaxation and tranquility. Participants often report increased mental clarity, improved mood, and a heightened sense of emotional well-being. This experience can help individuals regulate emotions, improve sleep quality, and enhance connections with others. A limited number of mats will be available; please bring your own mat/towel/pillow/props and wear comfortable clothing.
This event is presented by Isabella Weik of the Toledo Mindfulness Institute. It is part of Better Toledo, a personal and professional development series to ensure “you will do better in Toledo.” Certificates of completion are available to participants who take part in three or more sessions in 2025. Isabella Weik is a Toledo Mindfulness Institute certified Mindfulness Expert and Consultant, specializing in Mindful Leadership and Personal Development. She is passionate about the City of Toledo and supporting the wellness of our leaders, innovators, and changemakers. She has over a decade of mindfulness experience and has led mindfulness trainings for numerous area organizations such as the University of Toledo and Owens Corning. Participants leave her sessions feeling calm, capable, in alignment, and empowered.
The Toledo Mindfulness Institute is a private LLC which provides secular mindfulness training and consulting via live Zoom and in person classes. As a recognized resource for mindfulness, TMI’s mission is to improve the human condition by fostering the authentic practice of mindfulness for the alleviation of suffering in everyone who wishes to learn it.
