Description

The 2021 Ohioana Reader's Choice Award winner tells the story of the main character of Betty Carpenter. This fiction title is a lyrical coming-of-age story set in the rolling foothills of the Appalachians, including the Carpenter families' hometown of Breathed, Ohio.
