Onsite Services Table 1

Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided with Naloxone) is a free network of opioid overdose education and naloxone distribution programs.

No appointment needed, all services are first-come, first-served. Schedule subject to change.

Do you have naloxone in your first aid kit? Naloxone (Narcan®) nasal spray is freely available to the public by walk-in or mail order. Naloxone is a medication that can reverse an overdose caused by an opioid (fentanyl, heroin, Percocet, etc.). When administered, naloxone blocks the effects of opioids on the brain and restores breathing within two to eight minutes.

Fentanyl Testing Strips are also available and are a tool to detect street fentanyl that is laced in any drug product. 97% of Lucas County deaths to overdose involved fentanyl.

To request Free Community Training call 419-213-4168 or request naloxone & testing strips by mail.
