Free Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings

Ohio Department of Health Breast and Cervical Cancer Project

For women without insurance and who meet the eligibility requirements, the Ohio Department of Health Breast and Cervical Cancer Project (BCCP) can help you receive these lifesaving screenings.

Screenings are free for those eligible.

Eligibility:

• Income: Gross household income must be at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
• Insurance: Uninsured OR Underinsured/Cost Sharing
• Ohio Resident: You do not have to be a U.S. citizen to enroll in the program.

Breast Cancer Screenings

• Screening mammogram every other year for women aged 40+
• Diagnostic mammogram for women aged 21-40 that are symptomatic
• Annual screening mammogram for high risk women aged 21+

Cervical Cancer Screening

• Women aged 21+ are eligible to receive a pap test every 3-5 years
