TRE uses gentle exercises to help release stress and trauma through natural body tremors, promoting emotional and physical healing in a safe and supportive environment.
Through a series of gentle movements, Trauma Release Exercises help the body enter a state of relaxation. Trauma Release Facilitator Marcie Ann Kibogo will guide participants to engage their muscles through movements and transition to a calm restful state. During the class, participants may experience natural tremors or shaking as the exercises release stored stress and tension. The shaking is part of the body’s natural reset process, and the class will be a supportive environment where participants can be comfortable and safe throughout the class. Participants should bring a yoga mat, blanket and a bottle of water.
