Thinking about starting, buying or expanding your new business? Business Basics is a seminar that will take the confusion out of your efforts and help you avoid costly mistakes or unnecessary steps.

The Toledo SBDC Business Basic workshop is designed for new entrepreneurs seeking guidance on starting a business. It provides a comprehensive overview of essential steps, including crafting a business plan, navigating licensing and local regulations, and marketing strategies. The workshop also covers key financial topics such as understanding financial statements, managing cash flow, and accessing resources to support your business journey.

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers one on one no-cost counseling to entrepreneurs in all stages of their business cycle, whether they are beginning their business endeavors or are looking to grow their existing operations. The SBDC provides one-on-one counseling centered on the business planning process, including financing, market research, marketing strategies, and management and cash flow analysis. A Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce membership is not required to utilize these services.
