Who said love interests need to be human? This panel discussion will feature authors who understand that variety is, in fact, the spice of life.
At each program, authors will speak, followed by a question and answer session. This event is free, and tickets are not required. For other Romance-Con events and offerings, visit toledolibrary.org/romance-con.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Luna Cantrip is just another weirdo turning her love of cryptozoology into smut. She writes about falling in love with big fluffy cinnamon roll monsters. The kind who will make us tea, read us a good book, and rip our enemies in half if we ask very nicely. She lives in a shotgun house with her husband, a cat, and another cat.
Sabrina Cross (she/her) is a neurospicy 80’s baby from the middle of nowhere Michigan, where she still lives with her cat. She came into her monster romance era early when she fell in love with Beast from the 1997’s X-Men animated series. After discovering sentient object romance in early 2023, Sabrina decided to embrace what she calls her ‘Hold My Beer’ style of writing and gave into the lifelong dream of being an author. When not writing weird monster/sentient object smut, Sabrina can be found hanging out on social media (@authorsabrinacross), reading, or hoarding office supplies.
Lana Kole's stories bring life to characters who don't fit the mold, romance as sweet as it is sexy, and worlds better than this one. Author of paranormal, sweet omegaverse, monster romance, and queer love stories with a happily ever after.
Whit LaVonne is a romance and fantasy reader and writer living in Detroit and probably dreaming about the beach. She loves Marvel, dogs, and all things theater. Her favorite travel destination so far has been Cuba and her favorite job has been working attractions at Disney World. She teaches 6th grade students how to write the best theme sentences this world has ever seen and her most ordered take out meal is chicken tikka masala.
