Meeting Room 1 (Large Glass), 1st Floor

This program offers a supportive space to learn about adult ADHD, dispel common myths, and share personal experiences.

October is ADHD Awareness Month! As we learn more about ADHD, more adults are getting diagnosed. In fact, over half of adults with ADHD received their diagnosis during adulthood.

Learning objectives:

  • Identify signs and symptoms of ADHD in adults and dispel common myths about ADHD
  • Understand the results of undiagnosed and untreated ADHD and identify first steps to diagnosis and treatment
  • Define executive functioning and the skills that it entails
  • Explore strategies and accommodations for ADHD management

This session is led by Meredith Knauer Crull, M.S., CACP. Meredith is a professional certified ADHD & Autism coach who has ADHD herself. Since 2019 she has helped teens and adults alike figure out how to work with their brains and thrive in a world that isn’t built for the neurodiverse. As a coach, she helps her clients with self-advocacy, executive functioning skills, balancing work and life, self-care routines, and learning to love and live with their brains the way they already work. Her clients include high school students, parents, college and graduate students, creatives, and adults going through life transitions.

This event is part of Better Toledo, a personal and professional development series to ensure “you will do better in Toledo.”

Certificates of completion are available to participants who take part in three or more sessions in 2025.
