Rushing to the neighboring cottage, she finds her brother and sister-in-law dead, her teenage niece Reese missing, and her young nephew Wyatt sleeping peacefully upstairs. As police descend on the quiet resort town, long-buried secrets about Courtney’s family, and the town itself, begin to surface.
