About the Book
The Viper is the thrilling new Zig & Nola novel from Brad Meltzer, plunging his unconventional protagonists into their most personal and deadly case yet. The mystery begins when Andrew Fechmeier, a man who spent decades concealing a secret, is brutally murdered for a priceless object hidden in his burial suit. The cunning Roddy LaPointe, seeking justice for his own mother's murder decades earlier, recruits "Zig" Zigarowski to investigate. But the case becomes deeply personal for Roddy's twin sister, the enigmatic and volatile Nola Brown, as she uncovers a sinister plot that ties her mother's dark history and the killer's true identity to the object Fechmeier was hiding. The Viper is an expertly crafted, pulse-pounding adventure that unravels a shocking cold case with a twist no one sees coming.
