Explore different types of crafting with Toledo Library's Making Department. Projects will vary each session, and accessibility tools will be available.
This program is inclusive to all adults and teens but will be modified for those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their support person(s).
All supplies will be provided, including adaptive art supplies such as grips for and adaptive scissors. We will be making Cherry Blossom Tree paper crafts.
A support person should remain present to assist. Materials for support person not included unless they are also registered. Space is limited so we ask that you are mindful when registering. Support persons should also register as attendees if they intend to participate unless otherwise noted.
Please call Public Services at 419-259-5293 to request an accommodation at least two weeks prior to the program date, or to inquire about adaptive art supplies.
Sensory Considerations: potential to be moderately messy, may include mild smells and various textures, artificial lighting will be in use
Accessibility Details: located on first floor, elevator from parking garage, automatic or propped doors throughout space, mix of tile and low pile carpet
As per Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) Rule 173-39-02.1, we request a minimum of one support staff person to six individuals.
