2026 marks 50 years of Black History Month at TLCPL and 100 years since the establishment of Black History Month. From BAM to SLAM, please come celebrate with us all month long!

Please join members of the Library’s African American Appreciation Coalition in celebrating Black History Month by highlighting local Black and African American authors. This event will feature a space to meet, network, and have a good time and will include light snacks, music, networking, a brief panel discussion, and prizes! Registration is suggested but not required.

Please contact Holley Jackson by phone, 419.259.5310, if you, or someone you know, would like to take part in a short panel or be a featured artist. Genres such as comedy, mystery, romance, self-help, memoirs, etc., are all welcome.
