The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will visit Library locations to provide children (aged 17 and younger) with various health services, including school and sports physicals, immunizations, vision and hearing screenings, mental health assessments, and more.
The unit is a mobile medical clinic designed with children in mind, incorporating patient exam rooms, a waiting area, and a laboratory area. It’s staffed with ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital medical professionals. Staff will treat any patient presenting to the Ronald McDonald Mobile Care regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay and will follow ProMedica Toledo Hospital’s standard billing processes. Staff can also connect uninsured patients to resources to help them enroll in Medicaid or other insurance programs.
