About the event

Heralded as a "champion for women's voices in horror," award winning author and anthologist Lindy Ryan joins Authors! to discuss her latest slasher, Dollface. Known for her ability to combine "humor, heart, and horror," her work across fiction and film has been celebrated by critics and fans alike. Experience an evening of suspense and surprises with one of the most influential authors in horror!

This event features a 45-minute presentation followed by a brief audience Q&A. Each ticket includes a copy of the book.

About the book

In the quiet suburbs of New Jersey, horror novelist and single mother Riley Masterson hopes for a fresh start, only to find herself trapped in a waking nightmare when a killer in a plastic doll mask begins a gruesome spree. As the members of her local PTA are systematically targeted, Riley must confront the terrifying reality that someone is turning her own fictional tropes into a very real—and very deadly—slasher film. Surrounded by suspicious neighbors and mounting paranoia, she must unmask the "Dollface" killer before she becomes the final girl in her own tragic story.
