Are you interested in learning more about the U.S. immigration system? Join us for an expert-led session designed to answer your questions and provide a comprehensive overview of current immigration topics.
This session will specifically cover:
- Pathways to achieving a Green Card and U.S. citizenship.
- The inner workings of immigration court, detention, and deportation systems.
- Practical strategies for navigating common legal challenges faced by immigrants.
Meet Our Panelists:
- Eugenio Mollo Jr. – Clinical Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Immigrant Justice Clinic at the University of Toledo College of Law. He also serves as Chair of Welcome TLC’s Legal Services Working Committee.
- Dr. Kefa Otiso – Professor of Geography at Bowling Green State University and a founding member of the New African Immigrant Commission of Ohio. Dr. Otiso is a member of the Welcome BG steering committee.
- Mechelle Zarou – Chief People and Culture Officer and Deputy General Counsel at the Sisters of St. Francis. She serves as the Chair of the Welcome TLC Advisory Committee.
