Learn & Play Storytime with WGTE

A special storytime utilizing beloved PBS KIDS programming and characters.

WGTE’s Learn & Play Storytime is a set of activities and supplies aimed to maximize learning opportunities for preschool-aged children. Utilizing beloved PBS KIDS programming along with the professional curriculum of WGTE staff, the activities will focus on the New Early Learning and Development Standards by the Ohio Department of Education. WGTE educators will facilitate engaging and enriching mini-lessons using hands-on activities, video clips and storytelling to help promote language and literacy, cognitive development, creative development, physical development and wellness, and social and emotional development. Parents, caregivers, daycare programs, community organizations and others are encouraged to attend and take part in the fun led by the WGTE educational staff.
