Susan Ritter is a well-known award winning artist in the Northwest Ohio area who leads Plein Aire painting workshops at Art Supply Depot and Fuller Art house in Sylvania.
One of the oldest women’s art organizations in the country, the Athena Art Society continues to promote and develop the visual arts and stimulate community participation. We have helped enrich the arts community by sponsoring artist talks and demonstrations. We are hosting Susan Ritter as our guest presenter where she will show some of her finished artwork, discuss basic techniques for painting outdoors, and give a demonstration of plein aire painting (albeit from a photograph).
