Seasonal Beading with Bonita Bead
Programming for Adults with IDD and their Peers

Meeting Room 2 (Minimum 15 Attendees, Capacity 48), 1st FloorLearn the fundamentals of basic bead stringing. You'll work with a variety of charms and beads to create your own design.
This program is inclusive to all adults and teens but will be modified for those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their support person(s).
All supplies will be provided, including adaptive art supplies such as grips and adaptive scissors.
A support person should remain present to assist when needed. Materials for support person not included unless they are also registered. Space is limited so we ask that you are mindful when registering.
Please call Public Services at 419-259-5293 to request an accommodation at least two weeks prior to the program date, or to inquire about adaptive art supplies.
Sensory Considerations: Some hands-on assistance will be needed from support person, artificial lighting will be in use, beads may have differing textures.
Accessibility Details: Located on first floor, no stairs required, elevator access to first floor from parking garage, low pile carpet/tile flooring.
As per Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) Rule 173-39-02.1, we request a minimum of one support staff person to six individuals.
