Join us at Kent Branch Library for our annual commemoration of the birth of Toledo-born piano

legend Art Tatum. This year, as a special tribute, Tatum devotee and scholar Dr. Imelda Hunt will present original works of poetry from her book Does A Genius…A Tribute to Art Tatum

The poems are compiled from her reflections on his music and the many Art Tatum stories that were told to her by other musicians, his neighbors, friends, and sister, Arlene Tatum.

The generosity of the Library Legacy Foundation helped make this program possible.
