Celebrate Women's History Month and 100 years of the 19th Amendment with this special HerStory featuring historian Dr. Sara Egge. Dr. Egge is the Claude D. Pottinger Professor of History at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Author of Woman Suffrage and Citizenship in the Midwest, 1870-1920, her research explores how the rural Midwest, with its complex political climate and diversity of ethnic groups, shaped the woman suffrage movement in profound ways.
