Program Room (Children's Library), 2nd Floor

Join the Metroparks for a presentation to learn about local pollinators as we distinguish between species, spot look-a-like imposters and appreciate their roles in nature and human food production.

There are 4000 bee species native to North America, and many other pollinators like butterflies, birds, and bugs! Join the Metroparks for a presentation to learn about local pollinators as we distinguish between species, spot look-a-like imposters and appreciate their roles in nature and human food production. Weather permitting a brief nature walk around the library to identify different types of bees and bee look-a-likes will be included. All ages welcome.
