Leadership success hinges on what we do when we face moments of vulnerability- and everyone does! What if we can face these moments with a whole heart, no armor, no ego, and no fear?
This is the “Call to Courage” all of us can answer to be better leaders, colleagues, teammates, siblings, spouses, and children. Things like lack of trust, fear, ego, lack of self-awareness, and underdeveloped EQ (emotional intelligence) are killing innovation, creativity, engagement, and employee well-being in our workplaces. Whether you lead a community, a congregation, an organization, a team, or even a family- the world needs more courageous leaders! And Brene’ Brown says, “You can’t get to courage without rumbling with vulnerability.” She defines vulnerability as “the emotion we experience during times of uncertainty, failure, risk, and emotional exposure.”
This session interactive session is an introduction to the work of Dr. Brene’ Brown and her book “Dare to Lead.” The content is based on her research and ideas designed to help all of us be braver and more daring in our leadership.
