A series with a focus on the importance of planning and how to talk to your loved ones about healthcare wishes, finances, final arrangement instructions and pre-estate planning. Lunch is provided.

This comprehensive workshop will guide participants through essential aspects of end-of-life financial planning. We'll cover a range of crucial topics, including:

  • Living Wills & Advance Directives: Understand the importance of these legal documents and how they ensure your medical wishes are respected. Learn about the different types of directives and how to obtain and execute them.
  • Power of Attorney: Explore the significance of appointing healthcare and financial power of attorney. Understand the responsibilities and legal implications of this role.
  • Bank Accounts & Fraud Prevention: Learn to identify and protect yourself from common banking scams and frauds. Discover strategies for securing your accounts and minimizing financial risks.
  • Transfer of Assets: Explore various options for transferring assets, such as trusts and estate planning, while considering tax implications and minimizing estate taxes.
  • Life & Homeowners Insurance: Review the importance of adequate life and homeowners’ insurance coverage. Understand how these policies can protect your loved ones and your assets.
  • Talking with Loved Ones: Learn effective communication strategies for discussing sensitive end-of-life topics with family and loved ones, including financial matters, medical wishes, and funeral arrangements.
