RooftopToledo Lucas County Public Library welcomes all to our concert series, Live at the Library, a series featuring musical talent as they tour the country. This month, we welcome singer Denitia.
Denitia is a genre-defying artist whose sound lives at the intersection of indie pop, folk, and alternative R&B. With a voice both intimate and expansive, she weaves songs that explore identity, transformation, and the quiet strength of vulnerability. Born in Texas and now based in Nashville by way of Brooklyn, Denitia brings a deeply personal style shaped by her Southern roots and her journey through multiple musical landscapes.
Her music has been featured in films like Nanny and The Invitation, and in series including Better Things (FX), Broad City (Comedy Central), Dear White People (Netflix), Shrinking (Apple TV+), and The Terminal List (Amazon). She has toured extensively with the Black Opry Revue and has been invited to perform at the National Museum of African American Music and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
Whether backed by atmospheric production or a stripped-down acoustic set, Denitia’s performances offer a rich listening experience full of heart and nuance. With her soul-stirring sound and captivating stage presence, Denitia creates an unforgettable live experience. She is thrilled to join us at Main Library to meet and perform for the Toledo audience!
