A how-to guide for genealogists, that desire to locate and obtain the death records of past residents of Lucas County, Ohio.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Dave Weber is a retired automotive & ceramic engineer with 44 years with various ceramic and automotive companies. Since he retired, he has been involved with various local charities.  He co-founded Lucas County Cemeteries Historical Association (www.LCCHA.org), Save The Bridge Association (www.savethebridgeassociation.com), and John S. Kountz Camp 14 of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (www.camp14.ohiosuv.com). He is a member of the Toledo Polish Genealogy Society (toledopgs.com) & the Maumee Valley Heritage Corridor (maumeevalleyheritagecorridor.org). Mr. Weber, as a member & president of the LCCHA, has compiled a method to make the finding of death records in Lucas County easier & faster.

Dr. Phillips is Co-Founder of Remember Veteran Grave Markers, Inc., a non-profit serving the Lucas County Ohio Community (Toledo) and providing awareness and education to thousands of others about the poor condition of Veteran Grave Markers in our private and municipal cemeteries. His work has been on TV, Radio, and in print media.
 

Sensory Considerations: This program will use artificial lighting. All speakers will use microphones.

Accessibility Details: Located on the first floor, accessed by elevator and/or stairs. All doors will feature an automatic function or be propped open prior to program start. Tile or low pile carpet throughout the building. Limited free parking is available in the attached garage.
