Stop in, view, and read a story from the “Telling a People's Story: African American Children's Illustrated Literature” Panel Exhibition!

Each location hosting this exhibit will display three of twelve different panels. All twelve panels feature African American illustrators depicting the trials and triumphs of the African American people. Along with each panel, enjoy a corresponding book for onsite customer reading. The exhibits will be featured at the Heatherdowns, Sylvania, Oregon, and Sanger Branches from December 11, 2021 - January 23, 2022. Visit each of these four locations to see all twelve of these impactful panels!
