This short film was born out of a conversation with ProMedica’s Barbershop Health Program, which partners with Toledo barbershops to provide health education to African American men.
After receiving the early morning news of his younger brother’s murder, a mourning barber pushes through the muddy waters of grief to find the courage to do the impossible - give his brother one last cut. This short film was born out of a conversation with ProMedica’s Barbershop Health Program, which partners with Toledo barbershops to provide health education to African American men. A panel discussion will be held with local barbers and community members to discuss the documentary film.
