Running for public office can feel like a daunting task. Especially as a woman, where female representation in government spaces is underrepresented. Where do you start? Who can you ask for help? Join the Toledo Lucas County Public Library for its next "Your Voice, Your Run" event, aptly titled "Her Voice, Her Run" for Women's History Month. At this networking event, individuals interested in running for public office, at any level, can interact with other women-elected leaders and gain further insight and advice on making a run for office.
5:30-5:45 | Library Welcome and Event Overview (light refreshments provided)
5:45-6:15 | Table networking with attendees and elected officials, round one
6:15-6:45 | Table networking with attendees and elected officials, round two
6:45-7:00 | Library Resources Review with our Partners at Women of Toledo and City of Toledo CEDAW
7:00-7:30 | General networking between all attendees and elected officials
