About the event

Join the "master of modern horror" Clay McLeod Chapman for a spine-tingling evening as he introduces his latest novel, The Devil Inside. Chapman will dive into the inspiration behind his newest tale of terror, exploring his signature blend of psychological dread, supernatural suspense, and the unsettling thin line between reality and nightmare. This discussion is a must-attend for fans of southern gothic influences, visceral storytelling, and fiction that lingers long after the final page is turned.

The discussion will run approximately 45 minutes followed by a brief Q&A. Each attendee will receive a copy of The Devil Inside.

About the book

The Devil Inside is a harrowing journey into the heart of darkness. When a string of inexplicable, violent occurrences begins to plague a small, tight-knit community, local legends of an ancient entity return to the surface. The story follows a skeptical investigator forced to confront his own traumatic past as he realizes that the evil haunting the town might be more personal—and more internal—than he ever dared to imagine. It is a masterful exploration of grief, possession, and the monsters we carry within us.
