Your Favorite Authors' Favorite Authors

Romance-Con | Presented by Toledo Library

Behind every romance author is a bookshelf full of their favorites. Kate Robb will lead this panel as they share the authors and stories that influenced them, while you add to your growing TBR pile!

ABOUT THE MODERATOR

Kate Robb dated a lot of duds in her twenties (amongst a few gems) all providing excellent fodder to write weird and wild romantic comedies. She lives just outside of Toronto, Canada where she spends her free time pretending she’s not a hockey mom while whispering “hustle” under her breath from the stands, a Pinot Grigio concealed in her YETI mug. She hates owls, the word “whilst” and wearing shorts and aspires to one day be able to wear four-inch heels again.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Jenna Levine works by day to increase access to affordable housing in the American South. By night, she writes humorous contemporary and paranormal romances where the endings are always happy and the characters always find love, no matter who (or what) they are. When Jenna isn’t writing she can usually be found starting knitting projects she won’t finish, imagining she is someone capable of hiking long distances, or spending time with her family and small army of cats. 

Jordan Bloom has had jobs ranging from petsitter to professional editor, but her favorite job is telling love stories. Besides books, her favorite things in the world are sunbeams, puppies, and key lime pie. She lives in the Midwest, where the land is flat, winters are icy, and life is delightful.

Mae Moore is an American author who has always been fascinated by history, romance, and writing. Her love of reading was the catalyst to her career in publishing that started in contemporary and paranormal romance under a different pen name. Residing in Michigan, she loves spending time with her family, golfing, reading, and baking.

Dani Galliaro is the bestselling author of the Unintentional Puck Bunny and Ohio Rusties Hockey series, full of found family, heartfelt moments, and charmingly wholesome filth. Dani started writing romance after years of ghostwriting for corporate big wigs while wistfully dreaming of fictional happily ever afters. Dani lives in southwest Ohio with Mr. Galliaro, their two kids, and their hissy little hedgehog. 

Sensory Considerations: This program will use artificial lighting.  All speakers will use microphones.

Accessibility Details: Located on the first floor, accessed by elevator and/or stairs. All doors will feature an automatic function or be propped open prior to program start. Tile or low pile carpet throughout the building. Limited free parking is available in the attached garage.
