Meeting Room 1 (Large Glass), 1st Floor2026 marks 50 years of Black History Month at TLCPL and 100 years since the establishment of Black History Month. From BAM to SLAM, please come celebrate with us all month long!
Please join members of the Library’s African American Appreciation Coalition in celebrating Black History Month by highlighting local Black and African American artists, with a space to meet and network. The event will include light snacks, music, networking, a short panel, and prizes! Registration is suggested but not required.
Please contact Chariti Lockard at 419.259.5216 if you or someone you know would like to participate in a short panel or be a featured artist. Mediums such as painting, drawing, dancing, content creation, rapping, singing, poetry, cinematography, and videography are all encouraged to attend! Please be mindful that lyrics should be appropriate for all ages.
