These days, sneakers are so specialized! What distinct kinds of sneakers can you think of?
Participants will create and sketch their customized designs before applying them to a free (provided) pair of urban sneakers! Paint, appliqué, and all other necessary design instruments will also be provided.
This workshop is FREE and limited to 10 participants. Course instruction is provided by Dr. Craig Burney of Vintage the Collection.
Participants end the class with a culminating public showcase at the Main Library for the “Young, Gifted, and Black” Black History Month closing celebration, having successfully translated their creative vision using a variety of artistic mediums.
